North Vancouver, BC., March 20, 2019 — Multapplied Networks Inc. (MNI), a developer of a leading white-label Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) platform, today announced Johan Arnet’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Johan, the company’s founder, replaces Mel Steinke as Board Chair. Mel served as Board Chair since 2013 and remains with the Company as Director. “Mel’s been instrumental in bringing MNI to its current growth. His business acumen helped the company through its early days into more mature growth,” said Johan Arnet. “I thank Mel for his contribution, and I look forward to working with him on the Board.”
Johan Arnet incorporated MNI in 2012, three years after starting product development for a customer requiring an affordable multi-site network at over 15 locations across Western Canada. At the time, Johan owned Rocket Networks, a Vancouver-based Internet Service Provider (ISP). Since that initial customer, Multapplied has grown from an idea into a software company with a proprietary, market-leading platform licensed and delivered by ISP, Managed Services Providers (MSP) and Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLEC) across the globe.
