Multapplied Networks to provide free SD-WAN trials to all Service Providers attending INCOMPAS San Francisco.
Vancouver, BC. September 28 — Multapplied Networks today revealed its plans for the INCOMPAS Show at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, October 15-17th, 2017. The bonding-software-developer-turned-SD-WAN-Platform-Vendor believes they’re the only SD-WAN player that marries functionality with a business model suited for Service Providers.
“We’re proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish in this space already,” shares Cameron Couch, Vice President of Business Development commenting on the company’s dozens of existing channel partners, “we believe the stage is set for more Service Providers to grow their service and product portfolios with our technology.” To prospective partners, Couch states, “We want to be included in your SD-WAN vendor selection decisions. If you’re looking for SD-WAN technology designed for Service Providers, come by our kiosk to meet with us. We’re on the show floor at Kiosk #2.”
On Monday Oct. 16th Mr. Couch will participate in a panel discussion entitled “SD-WAN: Killer App in the Making” to discuss the future of the category. On Tuesday Oct. 17th Multapplied will be exhibiting on the INCOMPAS vendor floor and demonstrating its technology throughout the day in meeting room Nob Hill B. Private demonstration and discussion times are available by contacting Multapplied in advance or during the INCOMPAS show.
Features the company plans to demonstrate at the venue include: Link Aggregation, Seamless Failover, 4G/LTE Support, End-to-End Quality of Service, Local Internet Breakout, Zero-Touch-Provisioning, and the brandable, web-based command and control portal – among others.
“The timing is right for us to get involved in the SD-WAN space,” explains Couch, “We have many of the features end-customers truly need, and our goal is to have every service provider leave the show with our technology in their hand – literally.”
At the show, Multapplied intends to distribute 250 USB keys to representatives from Service Providers. The USBs, with the Multapplied technology installed as a bootable image file on them has been coupled with web-based automation to guide service providers through a series of tests designed to showcase the technology’s functionality and the ease with which a solution can be deployed to end-customers.
“Picking a vendor in this space isn’t easy for Service Providers – they first have to find the ones that have the features they need, then procure the vendor’s hardware, pay for devices in some cases, and then they have to book a few hours to run tests that the vendor controls,” Couch continues, “That’s not right, our plan is to give the Service Providers the tools to set up a lab, configure a device, and test the functionality themselves – so they get can get a real sense of how the technology performs.”
